Launching the CCP-volumeEM Show & Tell Series

We’re excited to launch the CCP-volumeEM Show & Tell Series - a new monthly online seminar series focused on practical methods, tools, tips and real-world computing challenges in volume EM. The aim is to create a friendly space for sharing useful ideas, building skills, and helping the community learn from one another.

The series is for anyone working with volume EM data, including PhD students, postdocs, facility staff, PIs, software engineers, data managers, imaging scientists and computational biologists. Sessions will be held online at UK lunchtime and will mix technical talks with practical guidance, from deep dives and live demos to end-to-end workflow walkthroughs.

We’ll cover a wide range of topics, including data handling at scale, preprocessing, segmentation, pipelines, reproducibility, benchmarking, standards and compute infrastructure. We’re also inviting talk suggestions from the community, so whether you’d like to speak yourself, nominate someone else, or suggest a topic, we’d love to hear from you.
