'Data stewardship and biological imaging data management: a summary of FAIR data life cycle'

with Dr Aybuke Kupcu Yoldas

About this Webinar

Description:

We have developed a tailored bioimage data stewardship curriculum as part of a UKRI-funded project, and delivered five Train-the-Trainer workshops across the UK, reaching a wide range of imaging scientists and research technology professionals. Based on that curriculum, I will talk about FAIR bioimage data lifecycle, focusing on the core concepts and related resources.

Speaker biography:

Aybuke Kupcu Yoldas is the data projects lead at the BioImage Archive and EMPIAR, at EMBL-EBI. She oversees submission operations and development, coordinate large data projects, and design and provide training. Her research background is in physics and astronomy, with the addition of biological imaging in the last 10 years, focusing on image analysis and data management.

Intended audience:

Learning outcomes:

The talk will be broadly accessible and is aimed at scientists of all levels in and adjacent to the fields of cell biology, imaging and computational/AI-based analysis

Level:

None, as the talk aims to present an overview.

Resources:
